High-end Xiaomi vs Huawei

While spending money on any phone always make sure that it satisfies you. It’s not necessary that a phone worth a 1000 dollars is better than the one priced half of that. Low-end smartphones are the best to meet the needs of the common public, accounting for 95% of the total consumers in the world.

Why go for Xiaomi?

Xiaomi phones became the top smartphone manufacturer in China within just 5 years of its initiation. They basically broke the fable – low price= low quality. If you’re looking for a low-end phone with high standard, Xiaomi is definitely a wise pick. Almost, all their recent handsets, launched in 2017 are prices under $300 or $400. In such low prices, they offer you great specifications, which other brands that sell at almost double prices.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which launched earlier in the year 2017, sells for only $162 in Pakistan. Xiaomi Note 4X comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Lg K10 launched in the previous year than the Redmi Note 4X with the nearly similar specifications sells for $150 in Pakistan. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 announced around June 2017, sells for about $300 in Pakistan. As the name declares, it is a battery powerhouse! It’s most excellent feature is its battery. The phone brings a 5,300 mAh battery which lasts for 2 whole days of heavy on a single charge! It has a big 6.44 inches display with 1080p resolution, with a premium finish. The OnePlus 5 which sells for over $500 in Pakistan holds almost same features as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, except for the camera differences. The battery capacity of OnePlus5 is only 3300 mAh in comparison to Xiaomi Mi Max which has 5300 mAh. The OnePlus 5 comes with a smaller screen of 5.5 inches.


The best part is that you will not lose warranty even if you root your device. Xiaomi, unlike other smartphones, has unlocked boot-loader. You can go to Xiaomi service center if you ever brick your device, accidentally and get it fixed. Xiaomi became the first company to distribute warranty even after rooting.

The Huawei Honor 7x comes with an aluminum body finish with a 5.93 inch Full HD display. Its resolution is 1080 x 2160 with a RAM of 4GB and 32/64 GB storage. Its front camera comes with 8 MP and rear camera 16 MP. It uses a single block of metal that looks and feels very premium for a low-end phone! Now, if we compare this phone with the Nokia 8 which is selling for $546 in Pakistan, double the price of the Honor 7x, the battery capacity on the Honor 7x offers a 3340 mAh, whereas a 3090 mAh on the Nokia. The Huawei phone has a larger display of 5.93 inches beating the 5.3 inches of the Nokia 8. The camera is also more efficient when it comes to the Huawei Honor 7x, offering you a 16 MP whereas the Nokia 8 offers a 13 MP rear camera
