The Razer Phone has one of the best Dolby Atomos-tuned stereo speakers and the performance is silky smooth due to the 120Hz refresh rate. Targetting directly gamers Razor Phone does not have a what we would call a cool design like most of the flagships out there. 2. Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
The successor to Samsung Galaxy S9, the third best in our list of Best Mobile Phones of 2018, we have Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus as the second best phone in the market right now. Released on the 16th of March 2018, the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus left the whole world in awe with its gorgeous end to end glass design and its flawless infinity display. The smartphone shares the same sleek glass sandwich design like its sibling S9 with a metal unibody and glass encasing. Samsung has further refined the best phone “S9” it has ever made and takes several steps forward.
S9 Plus comes with a visibly larger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED curved screen featuring a Quad HD+ (2,960 x 1,440) resolution, 6GB RAM instead of 4GB, better graphics and the most impressive of all, the dual aperture-lens setup. 1. Apple iPhone X
Yes, you guessed it right, We have Apple iPhone X on the top of our Best Mobile Phones of 2018 list. Reasons? There could be many but we don’t see any reason as to why this smartphone should not be on the top of the list.
Packed with an Apple A11 Bionic chipset, a hexacore CPU 2.39 GHz and three core graphics GPU, this smartphone was made to break the records and yes it did. It is a complete package with top-specs together with how beautifully it is crafted. There are new dual-lens cameras and complete new iOS made specifically for iPhone X.
There are almost no bezels and it is made from glass just like its competitor Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. But it is more durable and almost at the same price. The pricing starts from US 999 (AU$1479). You will hardly get any deals on this model but still, make sure to check your nearest retailers for any deals.
The downside is it gets too hot when using it as a Wifi-Hotspot due to a glass back. There is no quick charging option however you can use the 12W iPad charger instead of 5W to charge it quicker. A 5W charger (comes in the box) is no good when you are using your smartphone while charging. There is also no 3.5mm headphone jack.
The TechSeer will give it a 9.2 out of a solid 10.
